Fool's Fight

Fool’s Fight is a board game similar to Deck-building Card Games, but played with Tarot cards, randomly drawn decks, and six-sided dice. Played with 1-5 players.

Each player draws a Major Arcana representing their Hero, with special abilities similar to other DCGs / TCGs. If the Hero dies, the player is out of the game.

Minor Arcana cards are used for the player’s hand. The cards in hand are used for protecting the Hero or are drawn onto the table, where they advance through levels trying to get to the Center, and attack enemy cards and Heroes.

The table is divided into four sections, one section for each player. Each section has five Levels and they come together into a common center. Periodically a monster card is drawn to the Center, which will randomly attack the players.

Distance and order of the cards matter.

Cooperation is optional.

The game is influenced by (TT)RPGs, The Landlord's Game, and Pachisi.
